Original copy from the Ministry of Defence of a book which is effectively a training manual on how to set up and support friendly guerilla units (as opposed to how to suppress hostile guerillas).
Some of the earliest guerilla support operations were carried out by the British Army during the Peninsular War and the book describes guerilla operations from then to the Malaya Emergency of the early 1950s.
Book is illustrated with a number of fold-out colour maps. The book was originally intended for restricted circulation and is marked as such on both the title page and both boards.
